OUR STORY
The School of Journaling began with a chance meeting in 2000 when Fiona attended a workshop on journaling led by Jackee. For Fiona, that single day was transformational; unlocking a creative flow of poetry and writing that opened new doors in her life. This shared passion sparked a friendship that has grown and evolved over more than two decades.
Through the years, Fiona and Jackee nurtured their connection through shared interests in journaling, nature, and personal growth. They collaborated whenever possible, creating spaces for leaders and coaches to connect more deeply with themselves through writing. They also supported each other through major life changes each finding resilience through journaling and expressive writing.
When the pandemic hit, Fiona and Jackee knew there was a need to bring the power of journaling into a time of isolation and uncertainty. They launched an online journaling circle, inviting women to gather every Tuesday morning at 7 a.m. to write, reflect, and find grounding. These sessions became a sacred weekly ritual, an enriching space to share ideas, create, and stay connected despite what was happening in the outside world.
